On November 9, in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh), Trang An Marathon 2025 officially kicked off, attracting more than 10,000 athletes from provinces and cities across the country and more than 15 countries around the world.
The tournament was organized by Vu Media Joint Stock Company (VRace) in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province, becoming the largest annual sporting event in the province, contributing to promoting the image of Trang An Dual Heritage to the world.

With 4 distances including Full Marathon (42.195km), Half Marathon (21.0975km), 10km and 5km, athletes had the opportunity to experience the running route in the majestic scenery of the heritage area. The tournament has been measured and confirmed by the Vietnam Athletics Federation to meet technical standards, ensuring that its achievements are officially recognized.
This year, the tournament brings many innovations, including expanding the age group award system in the marathon distance, encouraging the spirit of fair competition and recognizing the efforts of grassroots runners.

The representative of the Organizing Committee said that Trang An Marathon is not only a sports competition but also a bridge between culture and tourism, contributing to the development of a sustainable sports tourism model in Ninh Binh.
In the Full Marathon men's event, Ho Quang Binh excellently finished first with a time of 2 hours 38 minutes 38 seconds, surpassing international athlete Hillary Kipchumba Kimutai (2 hours 39 minutes 21 seconds) and Nguyen Mai Trung (2 minutes 40 minutes 54 seconds).

In the women's category, Pham Thi My Duyen won a narrow victory with a time of 3 hours 13 minutes 37 seconds, just 1 second ahead of the second placeinner Hoang Huong Thuy.
The men's Half Marathon event recorded the victory of Le Van Thao (1 further 16 minutes 33 seconds), while Bui Thi Binh was the champion of the women's event with a time of 1 hour 33 minutes 45 seconds.

In the 10km race, Lai Duy Manh (35 minutes 56 seconds) and Le Thi Thanh Quynh (41 minutes 50 seconds) respectively won first in the men's and women's groups.
In the 5km distance, two athletes Dinh Viet Tiep (16 minutes 52 seconds) and Phan Nguyet Anh (21 minutes 34 seconds) won the championship.
After 5 years of organization, Trang An Marathon has affirmed its position as a "Heritage Run", where sports, culture and tourism blend, contributing to positioning Ninh Binh as a green and sustainable sports tourism center in the future.
