On November 7, the opening ceremony of the Standard Chartered Marathon Heritage Hanoi 2025 took place at Quan Ngua Sports Palace.
On the same day, the Expo exhibition area - the opening activity of the season also officially launched, attracting a large number of athletes, visitors and sports lovers.

This year's tournament recorded remarkable growth with 2,500 international athletes from nearly 70 countries, nearly double compared to 2024. This affirms its position as the tournament with the largest number of international athletes in Vietnam, while demonstrating the strong attraction of the domestic marathon movement on the world map.
The tournament will take place over 3 days, from 7-9.11. Accordingly, November 8 is the starting stage for the 5km (adult) and 2.1km (child) distances, while November 9 is the 42km, 21km distances. The Expo exhibition opened at 8:30 a.m. on November 7, lasting for 3 days with the participation of many sports, health care and beauty brands.

This year's tournament has a total prize value of more than 1 billion VND along with many valuable items from sponsors. The entire running track has been inspected, measured and technically certified by AIMS experts to meet international standards, ensure safety and optimize the experience for athletes.
In particular, the starting and finishing route at Quan Ngua Sports Palace with a nearly 10km flat route along West Lake is considered one of the most beautiful routes in the capital. This promises to be an ideal location for athletes to set new records in their journey to conquer the Hanoi Heritage Marathon 2025.
