Hanoi Open Pool Championship 2025 billiards tournament returns to grand scale

The Hanoi Open Pool Championship 2025 with the participation of 256 players will take place from October 7.

The Hanoi Open Pool Championship 2025 will officially take place from October 7-12 at My Dinh Indoor Athletics Palace (Hanoi), gathering 256 players from 40 countries, including 128 players from the world's top and 68 representatives of Vietnam.

This is the third season of the event considered the "Big Bang" of Vietnamese billiards, with a total prize value of up to 200,000 USD.

Duong Quoc Hoang - Vietnam's number 1 player shared: "Returning to Hanoi Open always brings me special emotions. This is the place to arouse the dream of bringing Vietnamese billiards to the world.

Accordingly, Duong Quoc Hoang and many other players such as Nguyen Anh Tuan, Dang Thanh Kien, Luong Duc Thien... are expected to create surprises when playing at home.

In addition, fans will witness the performance of defending champion Johann Chua; World Pool Championship champion - Carlo Biado, Fedor Gorst - the owner of the Grand Slam of the world 9-ball billiards village, along with other names such as Jayson Shaw, Francisco Sanchez Ruiz, Aloysius Yapp, Mickey Krause or outstanding young talent Albert AJ Manas...

In parallel with the main tournament, the Hanoi Junior Open youth tournament for 64 players under 17 years old will also be held, playing a role as a launching pad for the next generation.

Not only stopping at sports, the organizing committee also demonstrated social responsibility when it allocated 100 million VND from ticket sales to support people affected by storms and floods.

Ms. Tran Thuy Chi - General Director of Vietcontent, the co-organizer, emphasized: "We want sports to not only be a place for competition, but also a bridge to spread human values in the community".

Summarizing the previous two seasons, Hanoi Open has left a big mark with more than 3 billion global media visits, attracting tens of thousands of live views per match.
