The countries hosting the stage of the 2026 Southeast Asian International Volleyball Championship (SEA V.League 2026) are announced next week.

According to the plan, the professional team of Southeast Asian volleyball will work next week. The working session will make final decisions on the venue and content of the SEA V.League 2026 tournament for countries.

The Vietnam Volleyball Federation is waiting for a final decision to know clearly whether it will host a stage of the SEA V.League 2026 for men or women.

Vietnam has organized a stage of the SEA V.League from 2023 to 2025. We are all hosts in women's events. In 2025, Vietnam organized stage 2 of the 2025 SEA V.League in Ninh Binh and won the championship cup. The remaining country organizing a stage in women's events of the tournament is Thailand.

In the men's category, 2 countries regularly organize rotating stages of the SEA V.League, Indonesia and the Philippines.

It is expected that the SEA V.League 2026 tournament can rotate with other countries. This is to give fans of other countries the same opportunity to watch men's and women's volleyball matches.

Accordingly, countries that previously organized women's events may switch to organizing men's events and vice versa.

It is likely that Vietnam may be the host of a men's leg at the SEA V.League 2026 tournament. After receiving the final decision, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will choose the venue.

From 2023 to 2025, Vietnamese volleyball will participate in the men's and women's divisions of the SEA V.League. Currently, the women's division of the tournament has 4 participating teams: Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia. The women's division has 5 teams: Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia.
