The 2026 National Volleyball Championship promises to bring a clear change in the professional situation. After many seasons of teams with great advantages appearing, the new season is predicted to have more balanced competition as clubs invest in forces and have many important personnel fluctuations.
Hanoi Tasco Auto women's club is considered to have the strongest change even though it is a newcomer in the tournament. The Capital team strengthens forces in many key positions when recruiting libero Khanh Dang from VTV Binh Dien Long An, Le Thanh Thuy from LPB Ninh Binh and Vi Nhu Quynh from Quang Ninh.

These are all athletes who have affirmed their ability at the national championship. In parallel, Hanoi also owns many talented young faces such as Vi Thi Yen Nhi or Bui Anh Thao, helping the squad have more depth.
Notably, the team will be led by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet - captain of the national women's team, who just parted ways with Vietinbank.

In the opposite direction, Vietinbank entered the new season with many fluctuations. This team parted ways with the head coach, and no longer has the services of 2 players loaned out last season, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh and Dang Thi Hong.
Nhu Quynh moved to Hanoi, while Dang Thi Hong did not compete in national leagues for 2 years. The lack of force caused the team to face many challenges.

LPB Ninh Binh also went through a period of force disruption. The ancient capital team did not have the service of key player Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen - who was registered as an assistant coach.
Hoai Mi also left the team to join Ho Chi Minh City, while Le Thanh Thuy moved to Hanoi. These changes forced LPB Ninh Binh to rearrange the squad compared to the previous season.
In other teams, the personnel situation has also changed a lot. Hung Yen parted ways with Nguyen Thi Uyen, VTV Binh Dien Long An no longer has libero Khanh Dang and Thanh Thuy is absent who is playing abroad.

Thanh Hoa Club may not have the services of Trinh Thi Huyen, likely to return to Duc Giang Chemicals in the context that the team is missing Bich Thuy due to going abroad.
The shift of players between clubs creates a new balance for the tournament. The past 2025 season witnessed VTV Binh Dien Long An winning the championship, LPB Ninh Binh winning the runner-up, and Binh Chung Thong Tin often being in the leading group.
Entering the new season, the fact that teams increase forces and change personnel makes the race more unpredictable, no team maintains a superior advantage.
The 2026 National Volleyball Championship is organized in 2 phases. The first phase takes place at Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) from April 6 to April 19, 2026.
Phase 2 and the final round will be organized separately: the women's event takes place in Vinh Long from October 14 to October 25, while the men's event competes at the Ho Chi Minh City Police Sports Center from October 28 to November 8, 2026.
