The Vietnam Volleyball Federation has chosen Quang Ngai as the venue for the 2026 National U23 Championship from June 13 to 28.
According to the competition program, the 2026 National U23 Championship is the first tournament organized in the system for young athletes this year. After the tournament, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation also organizes the 2026 National Youth Championship and the 2026 National Club Youth Championship.
This year, the regulations of the 2026 National U23 Championship allow participating teams to transfer 2 domestic athletes to strengthen the competition force. This opens up opportunities to help teams short-term hire players from other units but must comply with the Transfer Regulations of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.
Players playing in the U23 male and female age groups will be the ones who will follow in the footsteps of the players in the national championship squad. Therefore, this is considered an opportunity for managers to discover more faces with the best professional development potential.
In 2025, the teams that competed in the final of the National U23 Championship 2025 are Binh Chung Thong Tin, Hoa Chat Duc Giang (female) and The Cong Tan Cang, Ninh Binh (male).
At the end of the tournament, the Binh Chung Thong Tin and The Cong Tan Cang team won the championship. At the above tournament, players Dang Thi Hong (female Thai Nguyen) and Trinh Ngoc Dat (male The Cong Tan Cang) received the title of Best Attacking Athlete.
According to the program of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation, after the 2026 National U23 Championship, the 2026 National Youth Club Championship will be held in Ninh Binh in July and the 2026 National Youth Championship will take place in Ha Tinh in August.
