The Vietnam Volleyball Federation will organize the 2026 National Championship in 2 phases. Accordingly, the first phase will take place at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) while the second phase will be competed in Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh Long.
In which, the women's event will be competed in Vinh Long while the men's event will be held in Ho Chi Minh City.
It is expected that next week, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will agree on the content to issue the Charter for the 2026 National Championship.
The tournament continues with 16 men's teams participating with 8 men's teams: Border Guard MB (national champion), The Cong Tan Cang, Ho Chi Minh City Police, LPBank Ninh Binh, Hanoi, Da Nang, Sanest Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City and 8 women's teams including VTV Binh Dien Long An (national champion), LPBank Ninh Binh, Information Corps, Vietinbank, Duc Giang Chemicals, Long Son Cement Thanh Hoa, Hung Yen and Hanoi.
Currently, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation still maintains the registration of foreign players for the National Championship.
Each team is allowed to register a maximum of 2 foreign players but only allow 1 player to enter the field at any time. The national championship organized by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports has a total prize of more than 2.2 billion VND. In which, each champion team will receive a bonus of 500 million VND.
Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) is the venue for the first phase of the 2025 National Championship. After that, this location hosted the AVC Nations Cup 2025 for women and a friendly tournament between the Vietnam Women's Team and Kenya and Spain.
