Stage 24 has a length of 146 km from Dong Thap to Tay Ninh. This is the penultimate stage of the race, which has a great influence on overall results, so throughout the journey, the cyclists competed fiercely, with the goal of winning high rankings.
This race also has 3 bonus points along the way. In Sprint 1, rider Marchuk Dzianis excellently finished first. Behind him are 2 riders of Team 620 of Vinh Long Agriculture, Dang Van Phap and Nguyen Minh Thien.
In Sprint 2, foreign player Sergei Kulikov (Dong Nai) had a brave sprint to finish first, standing above two other foreign athletes, Yarash Uladzislau (HCMC New Group) and Mugisha Moise (HCMC Vinama). In Sprint 3, the hope of host Dong Thap, Le Van Khanh, excellently finished first in the cheers of the audience.
After winning in sprint 1, racer Marchuk Dzianis continued to maintain stable form. He continuously appeared in the leading group, proactively regulating the tempo waiting for an opportunity to unleash his strength. In the final km in Tay Ninh, Marchuk Dzianis launched a spectacular sprint, eliminating the opponents behind to finish first.
This is the 6th time in this year's race that Marchuk Dzianis has won the stage. This achievement helps him consolidate the leading position for the best sprinter of the race (general green jersey).
Standing behind Marchuk Dzianis in stage 24 are Ilia Shchegolkov (Binh Minh Plastics HCMC) and Paweł Szostka (Military Region 7).
Tomorrow, April 30, the 2026 Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup will take place the final stage from Tay Ninh to Ho Chi Minh City with a length of 133 km.
