On the afternoon of June 18, the announcement ceremony of the VTV Ferroli Cup 2025 international volleyball tournament took place in Hanoi. This year's tournament took place at Vinh Phuc Stadium from June 28 to July 5.
The representative of the organizing committee said that the competition location was carefully calculated during the survey. The three criteria for the organizing committee to choose include facilities, location - travel distance and scenic spots to promote the image.

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Tri Truong - General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation said: "This year is special for Vietnamese volleyball when both the national team and the Vietnam U21 team participated in an international tournament for the first time.
This tournament is very important, giving the two teams the opportunity to compete and prepare well professionally, while reviewing the force, before orienting to the 33rd SEA Games.
The defending champion of Russia ( Korabelka club) continues to participate, which is a very good thing for the tournament. Through recent matches, I see that this year's teams are at a relatively equal level. The tournament matches will be very dramatic.
Whether he can beat Russia or not depends on many factors. This year, the Vietnam women's volleyball team is relatively stable in terms of strength and has a basis to learn from the loss in the previous tournament. Winning against Russia is a specific goal and task of the team".

Meanwhile, head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet said: "The preparation time between the AVC Nations Cup 2025 and this tournament is only 10 days. Therefore, we have not changed much in terms of playing style and strength. We will definitely change in the libero position.
We are also looking for chains to perfect the ability to support the first step. The U21 Vietnam team has just had an athlete go home to compete in the graduation exam, so we also have to consider it."

VTV Cup 2025 has the participation of 8 teams, divided into two groups. Group A includes Vietnam, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China) and Australia. Group B includes U21 Vietnam, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China) and U21 Thailand.
