During the 4th term (2020-2024), the President of the Vietnam Golf Association is Mr. Le Kien Thanh. The Vietnam Golf Association also has 9 Vice Presidents in charge of the assigned work areas. At this term, the Executive Committee has 47 members.
In 2023, two Vice Chairmen, Mr. Le Hung Nam and Tran Thanh Tu, were involved in a scandal of participating in gambling in the form of poker in Vinh Phuc (Phu Tho). After that, the Vietnam Golf Association appointed Mr. Vu Nguyen as General Secretary to replace Mr. Le Hung Nam.
During his 4th term, one of the impressive professional results of Vietnamese golf was winning a gold medal, a silver medal, and a bronze medal at the 33rd SEA Games.
The results recorded the historical achievement of Vietnam golf winning a gold medal for the first time at the Southeast Asian Games. It is expected that the Vietnam Golf Association will continue to elect 47 members of the Executive Committee for the 5th term.
