Assessing the victory on the afternoon of January 29, coach Giustozzi said that the confrontation with Lebanon is completely different from previous encounters.
The opponent brought new challenges. We proactively created pressure, controlled the ball and played quite well at many times. In the first minutes, the players handled calmly at the end, but then lacked accuracy in decisive passes and finishing," he said.
Coach Diego Giustozzi affirmed that he is satisfied with the overall performance of his players, especially in the context that the playing conditions are not really favorable.

This is a difficult match, the pitch is not completely suitable for our playing style. However, after two matches, the team has won all 6 points. That is a very positive result," he emphasized.
Comparing the two victories against Kuwait and Lebanon, the head coach of the Vietnamese futsal team said that each opponent brought a different approach.
“Kuwait plays head-to-head, while Lebanon defends deep, organized tightly. This is not the type of match we like, but the most important thing is victory.
The next match with Thailand will be different, taking place in a different gymnasium and field, more futsal-oriented, so we need to quickly focus on the next challenge," he shared.
Regarding Ngoc Linh's red card situation in the match, Mr. Diego Giustozzi expressed his personal opinion and said that the referee's decision was quite heavy-handed.
In my opinion, it was not a red card but just a normal foul, maybe the referee did not observe clearly. However, the decision was made and we had to accept it.
The positive thing is that the team defended very well when playing with one less player, keeping the goal in a 3-4 formation, which is very important," coach Giustozzi said.

Speaking about the defense system of the Vietnamese futsal team, the head coach highly appreciated the stability and organizational ability of the players.
“Lebanon did not attack directly much, but we intercepted the ball well, maintained a reasonable formation distance. If we had taken better advantage of the opportunity, the score could have been higher.
However, the most important thing is still 3 points and focus for the next match," coach Diego Giustozzi affirmed.
