In the group stage, the Vietnamese futsal team had to play at 3 different time frames. Therefore, the coaching staff proactively adjusted the training schedule so that players could best adapt to the starting time of each match. In the opening match, the team played at 5:00 PM, while the match against Lebanon took place at 1:00 PM on January 29.
To prepare for this change, the Vietnamese futsal team moved to the training ground at 12:30 pm on January 28. After about 30 minutes of moving, the whole team arrived at GKB Arena at 13:00 and maintained a training session lasting nearly an hour and a half.

Because they had just experienced a tense match before, the exercise volume in the training session was adjusted to a moderate level. The players who played a lot mainly performed warm-up, stretching and recovery exercises. Meanwhile, the group of players who were rarely fielded were directly instructed by coach Diego Giustozzi on additional tactical exercises to ensure the synchronous operation of the playing style.
At the end of the training session, the coaching staff spent time exchanging expertise right on the field. Coach Diego Giustozzi emphasized the requirement for concentration and tactical discipline, and analyzed the notable points in the playing style of the Lebanese futsal team. According to his assessment, what the opponent showed in the previous match shows that the Vietnamese futsal team will face a challenge that is not easy at all.

Before the training session, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Anh Tu met and encouraged the spirit of the whole team. He praised the fighting spirit and bravery of the players when they were led by two goals but still played resiliently to come back to win. However, the Federation leaders also reminded the team to seriously learn from the limitations that still exist, towards a better performance in the next match.
On the coaching staff's side, coach Diego Giustozzi spent time re-analysing the match against the Kuwaiti futsal team, pointing out the mistakes to be overcome and requesting the players to absolutely not let them repeat themselves in the confrontation with Lebanon.
