On the evening of December 14, at April 2 Square, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa, the Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest - Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024 took place. This is the first night run in the coastal city of Nha Trang, co-organized by Khanh Hoa Newspaper.
According to the organizers, after the launch, the opening night recorded more than 3,100 athletes nationwide and 40 foreign athletes participating in the 5km and 10km races.
At the opening night, the organizers awarded eye surgery funding to 30 patients in difficult circumstances. This funding was partly contributed by the participating athletes and 10 scholarships supported by Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company.
With the message of "spreading love for the sea and islands", on the morning of December 14, the organizers and athletes joined hands to clean up trash on Nha Trang beach.
On Tran Phu Street - the most beautiful coastal road in Nha Trang, thousands of athletes participated in 2 distances starting and finishing at Tram Huong Tower area running along Tran Phu coastal road (east) - across Tran Phu bridge. For the 5km distance to near the intersection of Pham Van Dong roundabout, Ton That Tung (turn around) - finish; 10km distance across Tran Phu bridge - Pham Van Dong street - Pham Van Dong intersection, Cu Chi (turn around) and finish.
Held for the first time, the Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest - Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024 left many interesting emotions for each athlete when running together and feeling the beauty of the coastal city at night.
Ms. Nhan Van (living in Vinh Hai ward, Nha Trang city) shared: "My group of 10 friends and I registered right after hearing the information. Although I have participated in many races, this is the first time I have felt so excited. The experience of running at night in Nha Trang and especially in such an interesting weather like today has given us unforgettable happy memories."

In addition to promoting the running movement, the race is also a meaningful cultural, sports and tourism event at the end of 2024, with the mission of promoting the beauty of Nha Trang city - Khanh Hoa. Through the race, it will enrich local tourism products to the sports-loving community everywhere, contributing to stimulating tourism and conveying the love of the sea and islands to people and tourists.
The award also spreads the spirit of sharing and mutual love through allocating funds to carry out eye surgery programs for people in difficult circumstances with eye diseases.
