On December 9, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced the conclusion of the regular meeting last November chaired by Provincial Chairman Nguyen Tan Tuan.
According to local assessments in November and 11 months of 2024, the province's socio-economic situation continued to achieve many positive results, growing in many areas compared to the same period last year, contributing to maintaining an economic growth rate of over 10% for the third consecutive year.
Key sectors all had high growth rates, especially industry, construction, and agriculture with good growth rates; total export turnover reached 1,880 million USD; state budget revenue exceeded the plan by 11.1%. Completed 22/22 targets for 2024; completed the Planning dossier, the Plan to implement the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, submitted to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for appraisal; continued to direct the review and adjustment of the Provincial Planning to ensure consistency with regional planning, national planning, etc.
Regarding the key tasks of December 2024, the Chairman of Khanh Hoa province directed to urgently deploy the arrangement of the apparatus of specialized agencies at provincial and district levels, and public service units; ensuring that the new apparatus comes into operation effectively and efficiently immediately, smoothly, without interruption of work.
In particular, agencies, units and localities urgently report on the summary of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and propose plans to reorganize the apparatus of agencies, units and localities according to the progress required by the Central Government, Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee; strive to complete the reorganization of the apparatus before December 31, 2024.
The head of Khanh Hoa province noted that it is necessary to fully implement support policies for cases of redundant and downsized cadres, civil servants and public employees after restructuring the apparatus.
In addition, in the last month of 2024, Khanh Hoa province aims to collect more than 20,000 billion VND in budget revenue; speed up the approval of zoning planning projects; and prepare for the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Will arrange to reduce 10-15% of agency contacts
Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Home Affairs is receiving and completing the draft plan, reporting to the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee regarding the arrangement of the organizational apparatus.
According to the direction of Khanh Hoa provincial leaders, units that are not expected to be restructured also need to proactively review and streamline their internal apparatus and administrative agencies and public service units to reduce 10-15% of the number of focal points.
Regarding the plan to organize and build the Party Committee of the government, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee will have an official report. The District People's Committee will immediately rearrange the specialized departments in December.
After the reorganization of specialized agencies and the new apparatus is put into stable operation, the current operational status will be reviewed and re-evaluated to reorganize all inter-sectoral coordination organizations in each field in the direction of retaining only those organizations with clear, necessary, and effective functions and tasks.
