Speaking after the final round of the qualifiers ended, coach Cristiano Roland assessed this as an important step forward for the young players. He said: "We won well. My goal is to play well in each match. My way of training young players is to always prepare them a way to go.
I am very happy to bring the path that the team believes in. This result shows that U17 Vietnam is a strong team".

The Brazilian coach believes that the experiences in the qualifying round are a valuable bag for the development of the players: After the qualifying round, both I and the players always want to learn and learn from experience. That is good for the young players.
They are confident in the future, first of all in the Asian finals. In the near future, the U17 Vietnam players will return to the club, continue to try to practice".
Talking about the opponent U17 Malaysia, Mr. Roland shared: U17 Malaysia won all before facing U17 Vietnam. After U17 Vietnam scored 2 goals, I had to help the young players control their emotions.

With the achievement of reaching the 2026 U17 Asian Cup finals, U17 Vietnam was awarded a bonus of 600 million VND by VFF to encourage the whole team.
