Speaking at the pre-match press conference held at noon on April 9, coach Diego Giustozzi highly appreciated the progress of the Indonesian team, and at the same time assessed that this will be a big challenge for the Vietnamese futsal team.
The Indonesian team has changed a lot and they have shown that in the Asian arena. We may have to face the strongest team in Southeast Asia at the moment.
Coach Hector Souto and the Indonesian Football Federation have done a very good job. In the previous tournament, they also won and showed a true, very beautiful futsal style. I am always happy to face such teams," coach Diego Giustozzi shared.

The Argentine coach said that the Vietnamese futsal team has fully prepared for the important semi-final match.
We have prepared 100% for this match. Indonesia has many young players, but they have very good professional quality, both tactically and individually. This will definitely be a difficult but also very anticipated semi-final," he said.
On the other side of the battle line, coach Hector Souto of the Indonesian national team also shared his views related to match management, especially the application of video referee support (VS) technology from the semi-finals.
I hope the application of VS will help referees make more accurate decisions. If used effectively, this technology will contribute to improving the quality of management and ensuring fairness for matches. We are all aiming for the goal of developing Southeast Asian futsal in a more professional direction," coach Hector Souto expressed.
Coach Diego Giustozzi also agreed with the viewpoint of applying technology to support referees, and expects regional futsal to continue to have positive developments in the coming time.
According to the schedule, the semi-final match between the Vietnamese and Indonesian futsal teams will take place at 5:00 PM on April 10.
