On the afternoon of November 4, U17 Vietnam continued to have a training session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. Having just had a practice match with U17 Cambodia last night (November 3), coach Cristiano Roland only implemented relaxing content, helping the players relax their muscles and recharge after a stressful training period.
Before the training session, coach Cristiano Roland spent time discussing with the media about the team's preparation process as well as the reviews after nearly a month of training.

The Brazilian coach was satisfied with the training spirit and quick adaptation of his players. What has satisfied me the most over the past month is that the players always feel comfortable wearing the national team jersey, he said. Some students have gathered before, while many students are being called up for the first time.
However, everyone showed a desire to express themselves, get acquainted with the team environment and adapt well to the playing style that the coaching staff built. They are showing confidence and understanding their roles in each situation. That is the foundation for the team to reach the strongest state when entering the 2026 U17 Asian Qualifiers.
Evaluating the 6 practice matches of U17 Vietnam in the past time, including the competition with U17 Cambodia, coach Cristiano Roland said that this is an important step to help the team perfect their expertise: "We have carefully planned and arranged for the players to compete with opponents of different ages and levels, from the U18, U19, U21 domestic teams to the same age opponent, U17 Cambodia.
Through each match, the students made remarkable progress and achieved the goals set by the coaching staff. The upcoming three friendly matches during the training trip in Japan will also be very important, helping the whole team best prepare for the U17 Asian qualifiers.
Coach Cristiano Roland added: "Actually, we have shaped the squad since the first training session, and added outstanding new faces from the National U17 Championship. My point of view is that all players must always be ready. The upcoming training trip in Japan will be an opportunity to complete and strengthen the strongest squad."

Commenting on the group of U17 Vietnam in the 2026 U17 Asian qualifiers, coach Cristiano Roland said that all opponents are worth respecting.
"We have carefully studied the opponents. Each match is important and has its own potential difficulties. For me, the most important thing is that the players fight with 100% spirit and ability. When we can do that, we will make the match easier with our own abilities, he emphasized.
According to the plan, tomorrow evening (November 5), U17 Vietnam will leave for Japan for training. During this time, the team will play 3 friendly matches. On November 16, the team will return home to complete the final preparations for the 2026 U17 Asian qualifiers.
