Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Deputy Inspector-General; Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, offices, and units of the Government Inspectorate and a number of departments, offices, and branches of Thai Nguyen province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Tra Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 19th Thanh Tra Newspaper National Badminton Tournament, said that with the attention of the Government Inspectorate, Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, central ministries, branches and provinces and cities across the country, Thanh Tra Newspaper organized the 19th Thanh Tra Newspaper National Badminton Tournament with an exciting, united, honest and healthy spirit to contribute to the excellent completion of the political tasks of the Inspectorate in the new period, making achievements to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Inspectorate.
2024 marks nearly 20 traditional seasons of the Thanh Tra Newspaper National Badminton Tournament. This is a practical annual activity to contribute to promoting and encouraging the physical training movement among the staff, inspectors, civil servants and public employees of the Inspection sector; at the same time, it is also a good opportunity to expand exchanges and working relationships between agencies and units inside and outside the Inspection sector.
This year's Badminton Tournament recorded the participation of about 200 athletes from 27 delegations, belonging to the Government Inspectorate, inspectors of provinces, cities and central ministries, divided into competition groups including: Leadership tournament; Cadres, inspectors, civil servants, and public employees tournament divided into 3 age groups (group 1 under 41 years old; group 2 from 41 to 50 years old; group 3 from 51 years old and above) with the following competitions: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles.
The Organizing Committee believes that the athletes will compete with a noble sportsmanship spirit, with all their heart, creating a day of solidarity between the Inspection agencies.
Head of the 19th National Badminton Tournament Nguyen Tuan Anh would like to express his sincere thanks to the Government Inspectorate, Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, Thai Nguyen Provincial Inspectorate, Thai Nguyen Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other organizations and individuals for their attention and valuable support.
Deputy Inspector-General Nguyen Van Cuong expressed his joy and excitement when the National Badminton Tournament of Thanh Tra Newspaper truly became a spiritual "food", a widespread movement, a meaningful playground of the Inspectorate every year, towards the anniversary of the Inspectorate.
Hopefully, through this annual Badminton Tournament, the physical training and sports movement in the entire Inspection sector will be increasingly interested, contributing to improving health, strengthening solidarity, exchange, learning and being the basis for helping and supporting each other to successfully complete professional tasks.

With the above active support and coordination, the Deputy Inspector-General believes that the 19th National Badminton Tournament of Thanh Tra Newspaper will be a great success.
