Opening of the 2025 emphasized physical education Championship and Festival with 665 athletes

Vinh Long - 665 athletes attended the 2025 National Biology Championship and Festival to celebrate the Ok Om Bok Festival.

On the morning of October 25, at the Vinh Long Sports Training and Competition Center Gymnasium (Fasility 2, Tra Vinh Ward), the Duong Sinh Sports Championship and the 2025 National Festival officially opened.

The tournament attracted 665 athletes from 38 clubs from 13 provinces and cities, including: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Hue, Can Tho, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Nghe An, Dong Thap, Ca Mau, Tay Ninh, An Giang and Vinh Long.

The tournament took place over 2 days, from October 25 to 26, with championship competitions including the Regulations and the Self- Selection Works, along with 2 Festival events including Physical Education and Arts.

This is an opportunity for athletes to exchange, learn, demonstrate the spirit of sports training, spread the movement "Living happily - Living healthily - Living usefully" and promote the National Physical Education movement.

In his opening speech, Mr. Duong Hoang Sum - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province - sent his condolences to the delegates, leaders of the Vietnam Physical Training Federation, athlete delegations, referee forces and press agencies.

He emphasized that the tournament creates opportunities for exchanges and meetings for the elderly, and at the same time introduces the image of Vinh Long as a friendly and safe destination.

He also expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches and sectors for supporting the successful organization of the tournament, wishing the athlete delegations to compete with high achievements and the Jury to work fairly and objectively.
