For the first time, the Congress and Competition were organized by the Ministry of Public Security in a joint manner, so the number of police officers and soldiers participating was very large. Therefore, the scale, influence and influence of the Congress and the Competition will be very large.
The competitions are rich, associated with the requirements and tasks of the force; both serving the movement and practicing so that the People's Public Security force is ready to enter a new era with higher requirements.
According to the organizers, the opening ceremony taking place at 8:10 p.m. on July 26 at My Dinh National Stadium will be grand in scale, ensuring its own quality, both having the meaning of depicting the development step by step, the work of practicing physical education and sports, the regulation and team formation of the People's Public Security Forces, and being imbued with cultural nature. The strong participation promises to create an impressive opening ceremony, with a great overall stage effect.
The large-scale health festival has 115 events in 10 competitions such as: applied running, swimming, 7-a-side men's football, table tennis, badminton, tennis, chess... While the competition consists of 18 events in 3 sports: regulation, martial arts and military.
The competitions are not only an opportunity to commend the forces but also evaluate the results of training and sports movement in the People's Public Security Forces in the period of 2020-2025.
The Sports Festival and Competition will be held from August 2024 to August 2025 in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Lam Dong and Phu Tho. In phase 1 (2024), the Sports Festival organized nearly 200 activities, events, and sports tournaments, mobilizing 16,256 officers and soldiers to compete to select and establish a delegation to participate.
The total number of athletes and coaches participating in phase 1 is 4073 officers and soldiers of 97 groups. The contest has 83 delegations, with more than 7,000 officers and soldiers participating.
In phase 2 (2025), the Sports Festival organized competitions in fire fighting and rescue, including preliminary rounds in localities, qualifying rounds in 8 regions and the final round held in Hanoi from May 28-30, with 320 athletes from 18 teams of the fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue police force from localities across the country participating.
Organized competitions in table tennis, badminton, chess and the final round of men's 7-a-side football from 24.7/18 in Hanoi. It is expected that there will be 97 delegations, with nearly 2,000 heads of delegations, coaches, and athletes participating.
Regarding the Competition, the final round of the Competition includes 26 teams, with 2,200 officers and soldiers participating, selected from 83 teams competing in the qualifying round.
