VTV Binh Dien Long An Youth Team will compete in the 2025 National Youth Volleyball Championship with many challenges. The squad led by coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa is missing up to 5 key players compared to last season.
However, the performance of the young girls from the Western region has proven the training quality of one of the top teams in Vietnam.
In Group E, in the opening match, Tre VTV Binh Dien Long An met Quang Ninh. Although entering the game slower than their opponents, with the encouragement of the defending champion, the young girls of VTV Binh Dien Long An quickly accelerated to win overwhelmingly against their opponents (25-15, 25-10, 25-17).
In the second match, coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa's students continued to have no difficulty in winning 3-0 against Tre Vinh Long (25-10, 25-17, 25-21). After two wins, Tre VTV Binh Dien Long An temporarily leads Group E.
To achieve this impressive initial result of the defending champions, it is impossible not to mention coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa. The former player born in 1987 is considered quite " proficient" in leading the youth team of the Western team.
Based on her extensive experience, Ngoc Hoa not only proposed tactics for the team but also worked hard to create good ideology for the young players. Ngoc Tuyen is a potential setter for the Western team. Born in 2008, Ngoc Tuyen is 1m74 tall, has a jump range of 2m75, and a block range of 2m70. The young female player continuously made her mark with accurate passes and a strong mentality compared to her peers.
It was the delicate passes from Ngoc Tuyen that helped attackers like Nhu Y, Ngoc Anh and Bao Ngoc shine.
In particular, Trinh Huynh Bao Ngoc is a breakthrough in coach Ngoc Hoa's squad. Although only 16 years old, this middle blocker is 1m80 tall. The young hitter continuously scored points from skillful combinations with setter Ngoc Tuyen and then quickly attacked powerfully in the middle of the net.
