According to Lao Dong's investigation, the VTV Cup 2026 International Women's Volleyball Tournament will change the guest team from Thailand.
The reigning national champion of Thailand, Nakhon Ratchasima Qmin C VC, will not participate in VTV Cup 2026 as expected.
The team did not have time to come to Vietnam, so the VTV Cup 2026 Organizing Committee will find another representative of Thai women's volleyball to replace them.
Currently, a visiting team from Thailand has been invited to participate in VTV Cup 2026 and will soon respond to the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.
After Nakhon Ratchasima Qmin C VC team could not come to Vietnam to participate in VTV Cup 2026, the tournament currently has 6 guests confirmed to come to Vietnam including Guangdong (China), Henan (China), Korabelka (Russia), Dinamo Anapa (Russia), King Whale (Taiwan, China), Kuanysh (Kazakhstan).
Korabelka team is the defending champion of VTV Cup.
The entire tournament will have 8 participating teams (7 guest teams, 1 representative of Vietnam). The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will be the representative of the host country.
The VTV Cup 2026 women's volleyball tournament will be held at Vinh Yen Gymnasium (Phu Tho) from August 8 to August 15.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team is training at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports to prepare for this tournament.
At VTV Cup 2025, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team lost 2-3 to Korabelka team in the final.
