On December 28, the Vietnam Bridge and Cloud Federation organized the IV Congress of Delegates (2025-2030), marking an important transitional period in the development process of this sport.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le Hong Tinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Cloud Bridge Federation term III said that the past period was a difficult period, especially due to the prolonged impact of the COVID-19 epidemic. In that context, the Federation still maintains professional activities, maintains the organizational structure and gradually consolidates the movement.
Mr. Tinh emphasized that, despite the challenges, Vietnamese sepak takraw has achieved many outstanding results in the international arena.

In term III, the national sepak takraw team won many medals at world, Asian, SEA Games and ASIAD championships. Notably, at SEA Games 33, the Vietnamese men's sepak takraw team won a gold medal in the men's 4-man event, creating an important milestone in the history of this sport.
In addition to competition achievements, the Federation also recognized progress in training, refereeing and international cooperation.
However, the Federation's leaders frankly acknowledged some remaining limitations such as financial resources, communication efficiency and organizational work. These are identified as issues that need to be focused on overcoming in the new term through innovation in management methods and expansion of socialization.
On that basis, the Congress approved the direction of activities for term IV with many key tasks: expanding the training movement nationwide, especially in mountainous and central regions; coordinating with the education sector to bring cloud bridges into schools; key investment for young athletes with potential; strengthening international cooperation and promoting sponsorship mobilization.

The Congress also elected the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Cloud Bridge Federation for the IV term. Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu was trusted to hold the position of Chairman of the Federation. The Vice Chairmen include: Mr. Vu Hoai Nam; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu; Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha; Mr. Pham Van Thang; Mr. Le Thanh Son.
