In May, FIFA announced that it would investigate the £89 million transfer case that took place in the summer of 2016 and asked both Man United and Juventus to provide relevant evidence and documents. It comes from information that the representative of Paul Pogba - Mino Railola received more than 41 million pounds from the world's most valuable deal.
At the time, Man United had confirmed that they were not pressured by the investigation after providing all relevant documents when the transfer was finalized in August 2016.
FIFA has recently revealed that Man United are no longer under investigation. However, Juventus could face a penalty ranging from a fine to a transfer ban. The reason is that the agreement between Mino Raiola and "Ba gia" could violate the third-party rule in the transfer.
A FIFA spokesperson said: "We can confirm that the investigation could lead to a penalty for Juventus. We cannot comment further, as this process is still underway. We further confirm that there is no similar investigation into Man United.
Paul Pogba has scored nine goals and provided six assists in 51 appearances for Man United since returning to the club. In the 2016-17 season, he won the English League Cup and Europa League with Man United.
Pogba moved to Juventus in 2012 after making just seven appearances for Man United's first team in his first spell at Old Trafford.
