The 2025 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship - AVC Nations Cup (formerly known as AVC Challenge Cup) will take place from June 7 to June 14 at Dong Anh District Gymnasium, Hanoi.
According to information from the host locality (Dong Anh), tickets to watch the tournament have been opened for sale.
The ticket price announced by the organizers is 100,000 VND for matches in the group stage and semi -finals. Particularly for the final day (14.6), the ticket has a price of 150,000 VND. In particular, tickets will be applied for the whole day with 5 matches.
The organizing committee conducted ticket sales at 3 locations: Dong Anh Cultural House; Dong Anh Gymnasium; People's Committees of Duc Tu, Viet Hung, Nguyen Khe communes (Dong Anh).
Ticket sales are 9:00 - 11:30 and 15:30 - 18:00 from 26.5 to 6.6; 9:00 - 20:30 from 7.6 to 14.6.
Regarding the tournament, according to the draw results, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will enter Group A with opponents Australia, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China) and India.
Meanwhile, Group B includes the women's volleyball teams of Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Iran, Indonesia, Mongolia and New Zealand.
Because the number of participating teams is 11, the organizing committee was forced to change the format when dividing into 2 groups. In each group, the teams compete in a round-robin to calculate points and select 4 teams to enter the quarter-finals.
Assessing the correlation between strength and expertise, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team fell into a "easier" group when the opponents were not too strong. Not to mention, the Vietnam women's volleyball team is the reigning AVC Nations Cup champion.
