The Southeast Asian Sports Federation has announced the official organization of the iron badminton event at the 33rd SEA Games. The notice was sent to the Olympic Committees of countries in Southeast Asia on October 24.
After a meeting between the World Badminton Federation, the Thai Olympic Committee, and the Southeast Asian Sports Federation in France, the parties reached a consensus for the iron badminton event to officially be held at the 33rd SEA Games.
However, the World Badminton Federation accepted the Southeast Asian Sports Federation's appointment of an independent Badminton Sports Committee (Pentanque Sports Independence Committee) as the organizer of the badminton event at the 33rd SEA Games. The Thai Iron and Steel Federation (PAT) was not allowed to participate in the organization.
pentanque Sports Independence Committee will coordinate professionally with the Asian Iron Ball Federation and the World Iron Ball Federation to ensure that the iron ball sport takes place in accordance with regulations at the 33rd SEA Games.
The 33rd SEA Games iron ball competition has 11 events including men's techniques, men's individual, men's doubles, men's 3-playing; women's techniques, women's individual, women's doubles, women's 3-playing; men's and women's doubles, team matches for 2 men and 1 woman, team matches for 2 women and 1 man.
Vietnamese sports will participate in the iron ball event at the 33rd SEA Games. The goal is for the players to strive for gold medals. The Vietnamese iron ball team will participate in the 2025 Asian Championship in Malaysia next week.
The players participating in the tournament include Minh Luan, Ngo Ron, Ngoc Kiet, Van Dung, Nguyen Thi Hien, Anh Lan, Thu Thao, Kim Thanh, Nhu Y, Nguyen Thi Thi, Hoang Phuc, Van Toan, Ngoc Diep, Thanh Tra, Thuy Kieu, Lai Thi Dung.
