Nguyen Thuy Linh is the most famous tennis player who cannot participate in the 2025 National Outstanding Tennis Tournament which kicked off in Gia Lai on September 21.
Many familiar faces of high-performance badminton in Vietnam such as Vu Thi Trang, Nguyen Tien Minh, Le Duc Phat, Nguyen Hai Dang, Pham Hong Nam, Tran Thi Phuong Thuy, Bui Bich Phuong, Nguyen Dinh Hoang, Tran Dinh Manh... all participated in the competition.
Nguyen Thuy Linh was injured at the recent Masters 2025 in China. The tennis player returned to Vietnam and was examined and tested to stabilize his health. For now, Thuy Linh needs to rest for a while to ensure that the pain does not recur.
The 2025 National Outstanding Tennis Tournament will organize 5 events including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. All athletes are drawn to compete in 2 phases. The first stage is the group stage. The second phase is direct.
In 2024, the men's singles champion is Le Duc Phat and the women's singles champion is Tran Thi Phuong Thuy.
