The two volleyball teams of Kenya and Spain will train at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) before participating in the 2025 World Championship.

Representative of Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi), Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phuc, spoke with Lao Dong: "The preparation of facilities to welcome the Kenyan and Spanish volleyball teams to the training session has been carefully built. We have worked with the Vietnam Volleyball Federation to coordinate the implementation of the above training program. Surely, the local people will welcome the most enthusiastic players".

According to Mr. Phuc, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team will have a practice match with the Kenyan and Spanish volleyball teams on August 16, 17 and 18, respectively. The tickets were sold for 50,000 VND for fans to cheer for the players.

For the first time, Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) was chosen by international volleyball teams as a training location. In June, this location hosted the AVC Nations Cup 2025 and the President of the Asian Volleyball Confederation directly attended the final match. The officials of the Asian Volleyball Confederation have assessed the facilities of Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) to meet the prescribed standards.

The Vietnam Volleyball Federation said that the Kenyan and Spanish volleyball teams entered Vietnam on August 15. Each team will implement its own training plan. However, all stayed here until August 20 and then went to Thailand to participate in the 2025 World Championship.

The Vietnam women's volleyball team will be in Dong Anh (Hanoi) after finishing the second phase of the 2025 SEA V.League from August 8 to August 10.
