Training program of the Kenyan Women's Volleyball Team to prepare professionally for the 2025 World Championship. The Kenyan Volleyball Federation chose Vietnam as a place to practice for players to get used to the weather and check in at the same time as Thailand (where the 2025 World Championship will be held).

The Kenyan women's volleyball team will practice for a week at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi). During this time, the team will have a friendly practice program with the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team. This is the first time the Kenyan Volleyball Federation has sent a national women's team to train in Vietnam.

The Vietnam women's volleyball team played a practice match with the Kenyan women's team in 2023. That match took place when we and the Kenyan players participated in the 2023 FIVB Challenge Cup. The match is only a professional training session, so the coaching staff of both sides do not focus on the score results.

The Vietnam women's volleyball team is preparing to participate in the second phase of the 2025 SEA V.League in Ninh Binh from August 8 to August 10. After the tournament, the team will travel to Dong Anh (Hanoi) to practice with the Kenyan team. In addition, the Spanish Women's Volleyball Team is also expected to be in Vietnam at the same time to practice with the host team Vietnam.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will focus on the practice match with the Kenyan team because this is also a opponent in Group G with us at the 2025 World Volleyball Championship. In addition to the Kenyan and Vietnamese teams, the group also includes the Polish women's team and the German women's team.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet once expressed his wish that his players would accumulate a lot of experience through clashes with international opponents. The Vietnam women's volleyball team competed in the AVC Nations Cup 2025, VTV Cup 2025 and the first phase of the SEA V.League 2025.

In addition, some members will participate in the Shanghai Future Stars 2025 friendly tournament (China). Mr. Kiet said: "When players practice a lot against opponents, they will be more confident. We clearly saw Vietnamese players playing with the highest spirit even when meeting the Thai women's team on the opponent's field. This accumulation does not come naturally but takes a certain amount of time.
