In the 60kg MMA Striking semi-final, Luong Thanh Phuc won the right to enter the final after overcoming Nguyen Hoang Hai Trieu with a TKO victory.
The two boxers entered the game at high speed, constantly exchanging moves. Thanh Phuc created pressure with effective pressing situations, while Hai Trieu responded with strong hand strikes. A turning point appeared in the second round when Hai Trieu suffered a facial injury and could not continue playing after the round ended.
In the MMA Pro 52kg weight class, Bui Xuan Nguyen successfully reversed the score against Nguyen Huu Nghia. Despite facing many difficulties in the wrestling and blocking phases of his opponent in the first round, Xuan Nguyen still maintained his composure to take advantage of his physical strength in the later stage. The victory by agreeing points helped him write his name into the semi-finals.
One of the most notable results belongs to Daniel William O'Rourke. The boxer who is of interest to Vietnamese fans has his first victory at LION Championship when defeating Sloan Pierre Samuel Venter. Daniel controlled well the off-field situations and closed the match with a neck-pulling blow in the third round.
The women's 56kg category also created a surprise when Vo Nguyen Ngoc Linh overcame Tran Le Phi Khanh with a hand lock. Previously, Phi Khanh was the one who dominated and even created two knocks on opponents in the first round.
In the remaining MMA Pro matches, Siyovush Gulmamadov won points against Le Nguyen Phuc after three rounds of controlling the game. Le Quang Linh continued to impress with a stable performance against Phan Trong Hieu.
Pham Anh Duc defeated Dinh Chi Cong with a brace in the second round, while Nguyen Phu Thinh finished the match with Minh Quyen with a neck-pulling from behind.
Closing the event was the confrontation between Eric Balacoa and Bui Truong Sinh. After the first minutes of fierce duel, Truong Sinh launched an accurate kick into the Philippines opponent's liver to win an impressive knockout victory. This is also one of the most outstanding finishes of LION Championship 32.
