Building a young Taekwondo development ecosystem
First held in 2019, this year the tournament enters its 6th season. The 2026 season will take place at Rach Mieu Gymnasium, Ho Chi Minh City from July 23 to 27 with the participation of about 1,300 people (1,000 athletes and 300 coaches, referees, officials and officials), representing 34 provinces and cities across the country.
This is also the first national Taekwondo tournament in Vietnam with foreign businesses as the title sponsors. Over the past time, the tournament has become a typical playground for young Vietnamese Taekwondo talents to nurture their dream of becoming national athletes and compete, affirming their abilities.
Attached to Vietnamese Taekwondo since 2012, starting from sponsoring the national women's team, CJ Group has gradually expanded its support scope to organizing youth tournaments and founding international tournaments, thereby building a comprehensive support system from discovering young talents, training athletes, developing the national team to creating conditions for athletes to reach out to the world arena.
The National Youth Taekwondo Tournament is a starting playground, nurturing for many young Vietnamese talents to discover their abilities in the national arena, as well as promoting them to pursue the dream of becoming professional athletes, towards major arenas.
Spreading K-Sports, K-Lifestyle and connecting the community
Recently, in both Korea and Vietnam, Taekwondo is being seen not only as a sport but also as a cultural content.

Especially in Vietnam, through activities on television and social networks of former national team players, the popularity and cultural influence of Taekwondo are increasingly expanding.
In the context of Taekwondo developing into a field combining sports, culture and industry, the sponsor of the National Youth Taekwondo Tournament is also playing a bridge role in promoting K-Sports (Korean sports ecosystem) and Korean culture, while promoting cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea through Taekwondo.
Through the youth Taekwondo tournament maintained annually on a large scale, organizing units and sponsors not only promote Vietnam-Korea cultural exchange but also pioneer in spreading K-Lifestyle (Korean lifestyle).
The 2026 National Youth Taekwondo Championship CJ will be broadcast live widely, contributing to promoting the popularity and raising awareness of this sport in Vietnam.
