The most regrettable absence in table tennis at the X-2026 National Sports Games is the case of Nguyen Duc Tuan.
This year, the competition program of the 44th National People's Newspaper Table Tennis Championship 2026 is included in the X-2026 National Sports Festival.
The tournament will open on August 8 at Hai Duong Gymnasium (Hai Phong).
Representatives of the host team Hai Phong said that on July 31, key player Nguyen Duc Tuan will not participate in the X-2026 National Sports Festival.
Currently, Duc Tuan has a back injury. Therefore, this player accepts to be absent from this year's competition.
Nguyen Duc Tuan is the leading face of Hai Duong (old) table tennis before and now Hai Phong.
