Nguyen Thuy Linh is currently competing at the Singapore Open Badminton Tournament. She will enter her first women's singles match on May 27, against opponent Natsuki Nidaira (Japan).
The 2026 Singapore Open badminton tournament has BWF World Tour Super 750 world standards, so it attracts all top world faces to compete.
Thuy Linh's goal is to try to get deep into the final round of the women's singles event at this tournament. However, she will have to compete to win in each of her matches.
After the tournament in Singapore, Thuy Linh continues to compete in Indonesia in early June. The 2026 Indonesia Open has a BWF World Tour Super 1000 level, so the competition is predicted to be not easy for Thuy Linh.
In August, Thuy Linh will go to India to participate in the 2026 Badminton World Championships and then continue to prepare for ASIAD 20.
