Badminton player Nguyen Thuy Linh is currently in Thai Nguyen to participate in the 2026 National Club Badminton Tournament.

This year, Nguyen Thuy Linh was selected as the No. 2 seed in the women's singles event at the 2026 National Club Badminton Tournament.

The competition program of the tournament lasts from May 4 to May 10 in Thai Nguyen.

The women's singles event has 15 players participating. Among them, the No. 1 seed is Vu Thi Trang (HCMC). The event only selects 4 players to arrange seeds in 4 brackets.

If she achieves the best results in the matches, Thuy Linh is capable of participating in the final to compete for the championship. This is the 2nd consecutive domestic tournament that player Thuy Linh has participated in. In March, she competed in the 2026 National Mixed Men's and Women's Team Badminton Tournament with the Dong Nai team but did not have a championship result.

After the 2026 National Badminton Club Tournament, Nguyen Thuy Linh will go to Malaysia to compete in the 2026 International Masters tournament from May 19 to May 24.

This tournament is the next international program that Thuy Linh participates in after participating in the 2026 Asian Championship in March.

Nguyen Thuy Linh is currently ranked 23rd in the world women's singles. She will focus on competing in Malaysia to improve her performance and increase her ranking.

The Masters 2026 tournament in Malaysia has the BWF World Tour Super 500 level of world badminton. Nguyen Thuy Linh is the only Vietnamese player to be qualified for the tournament.
