Vietnam Sports has registered the number of sports and the number of events. No country (including Vietnam) has registered for the list of coaches and athletes participating in the 33rd SEA Games.
Through research, Vietnamese sports continue to focus on competing in sports and events under the Olympic and ASIAD programs that will take place at the 33rd SEA Games.
At the 32nd SEA Games held in Cambodia 2 years ago, the Vietnam Sports Delegation won Gold Medals in sports including basketball, athletics, cycling, triathlon, gymnastics, jujitsu, karate, swimming, boxing, boxing, women's football, judo, kickboxing, cloud badminton, table tennis, taekwondo, weightlifting, weightlifting, wushu. For the 33rd SEA Games, the above sports will continue to be officially organized and Vietnamese sports will participate.
At this time, each country kept registration confidential because this was a professional secret factor. Vietnamese sports leaders have not officially announced to the media about the professional content.

The regulation given by the Southeast Asian Sports Federation is that before the SEA Games opened, the countries will attend the conference affirmed by the organizers. This conference for each country to identify the list of coaches and athletes officially attended the SEA Games. It is expected that in October 2025, the conference was organized by the Thai host.
At this time, host Thailand has officially announced the competition locations for all sports so that all countries can grasp the information.
Vietnamese sports lead the overall medal table at the 31st and 32nd SEA Games, but many predictions say that we are facing difficulties at this year's Games because host Thailand is determined to win the highest ranking.
Countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Brunei, Timor-Lester have excellent athletes capable of competing for Gold Medals at the 33rd SEA Games. No one wants to miss the opportunity to win for themselves. Many national sports teams of Vietnam are being very cautious in preparing their forces.
"We are still grasping the professional preparation of many teams in the area, each team is sending athletes to compete in tournaments to review their expertise. The Thai host organizing committee of the 33rd SEA Games has not yet issued technical books for all sports. Technical books will stipulate the competition regulations of the sport, from which the new sports can record specific registration.
The 33rd SEA Games will take place from December 9 to December 20 in Thailand. The entire Congress has 50 sports with 574 competitions.
