Vietnamese referees trusted by AFC in the 2026 Asian Cup Women's Finals

The three Vietnamese female referees continue to be assigned by AFC to the final round of the 2026 Asian Women's Football Championship held in Australia.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has sent a notice inviting 3 Vietnamese referees to participate in the 2026 Asian Women's Football Championship finals held in Australia.

According to the list approved by AFC, Vietnam has 3 representatives including referee Le Thi Ly (HCMC), referee Bui Thi Thu Trang (Hai Phong) and assistant referee Ha Thi Phuong (Hai Phong). These are all faces that have been regularly chosen as targets in tournaments in the AFC system over the years.

According to the assigned plan, referee Le Thi Ly and assistant referee Ha Thi Phuong will be on duty from February 21 to March 22, 2026. Referee Bui Thi Thu Trang will take charge in the period from February 21 to March 1, 2026.

The fact that AFC continues to trust Vietnamese referees in a top continental tournament shows the ability, bravery and professionalism of the Vietnamese female referee team that is increasingly highly appreciated. This is also a testament to the efforts to improve the quality of referees in Vietnamese football in recent years, contributing to affirming its position in the international arena.
