Update on the developments and results of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at ASIAD 20 today (September 20).

The Vietnamese sports delegation entered the first official competition day at ASIAD 20 with many notable events, including women's volleyball against China in the quarterfinals at 11:00 AM. Previously, the Vietnamese women's handball team met Hong Kong (China) in the qualifying round at 1:30 PM.

In swimming, Vo Thi My Tien competes in the women's 200m butterfly qualifying round at 8:00 AM, while Tran Hung Nguyen competes in the men's 200m medley at 8:00 AM. Nguyen Thuy Hien competes in the women's 50m breaststroke at 8:00 AM. If she wins the right to continue, these events will enter the final from 3:00 PM.

Karate sport has Bui Ngoc Nhi competing in the women's singles kata qualifying round at 8:00 AM. Chu Van Duc competes in the men's 65kg kumite from 10:15 AM. The semi-finals take place from 12:10 PM and 12:50 AM, before the women's singles kata final at 3:55 PM.

In shooting, Le Thi Mong Tuyen, Phi Thanh Thao and Duong Ha My competed in the women's individual rifle qualifying round at 7:45 AM. The final of this event took place at 12:30 PM.

Wushu opened from 7:00 am with Nguyen Van Sy's men's changquan final. In the afternoon, Ngo Thi Phuong Nga met Mongolian opponent in the women's 52kg category at 4:30 pm, and Truong Van Chuong met Macau (China) martial artist in the men's 70kg category at 6:10 pm.

In teqball, Minh Tan and Gia Nghi competed for the men's and women's doubles bronze medal at 8:30 am, while the men's doubles bronze medal match between Truong Giang and Anh Khoa took place at 9:30 am.

MMA event with Lo Thi Phung facing Kazakhstan fighter in the modern women's 54kg category at 8:30 am, Quang Van Minh facing Bahrain opponent in the traditional men's 77kg category at 10:30 am. Two events continue with quarter-final matches at 1:50 pm and 5:10 pm.

In cycling, Pham Le Xuan Loc competes in the men's individual timekeeping final at 11:30 AM.
