Answering an interview at the press conference on the afternoon of January 19, goalkeeper Trung Kien of U23 Vietnam expressed respect for the stable and effective performance of goalkeeper Li Hao.
Trung Kien emphasized: "For a goalkeeper who has played very hard after 4 matches at the AFC U23 Championship but has not conceded a goal, that is a very commendable achievement. I think he is a good goalkeeper, perfect in all skills.
Li Hao is an important support in the journey to the semi-finals of U23 China, with a series of decisive saves in the group stage as well as the quarter-finals.
Trung Kien praising the opponent shows the thorough preparation and cautious approach of U23 Vietnam before the key match.
Although highly appreciating the goalkeeper on the other side of the battle line, Tran Trung Kien affirmed that he will focus to the maximum on his task in the U23 Vietnam goal.
The goalkeeper born in 2003 said: "Personally, I will play with all my ability and high concentration. As for the team, the coaching staff as well as all players will have different preparations for each opponent.
It is impossible to predict what will happen on the field because each match is a different challenge, but we will continue to try to focus to play our best”.
At the 2026 AFC U23 Championship, Tran Trung Kien is also in stable form. With a height of 1m91, long sleeves and a solid competitive mentality, he is a reliable stopper in the defense system of U23 Vietnam, making an important contribution to helping the home team advance deep into the tournament.
