On the evening of August 25, at the Manahan main stadium, the U16 Vietnam women's team had a confrontation with the U16 Myanmar women's team in the final match of the group stage. Head coach Okiyama Masahiko continues to apply the 4-2-3-1 formation, keeping 7 positions in the starting lineup compared to the match against Cambodia U16 Women's, and having four personnel changes.

From the first minutes, the players in red entered the match confidently, continuously creating pressure on the Myanmar goal. The shots of Minh Anh, Yen Linh and Ngoc Anh forced the opponent's defense to fight back. However, the first half ended without any goals scored.
Entering the second half, U16 Vietnam continued to maintain an attacking position. In the 55th minute, the red team was awarded a penalty after the ball touched the hand of a Myanmar defender, but Ngoc Anh failed to take advantage. In the 69th minute, another 11m ball was given to U16 Vietnam and Le Thi Hong Thai to do it accurately, opening the score 1-0.
As the match ended, the pressure continuously forced the U16 Myanmar defense to make mistakes. In the 85th minute, U16 Vietnam was awarded a penalty for the third time and this time Ngoc Anh scored, sealing a 2-0 victory.

With this result, the U16 Vietnam women's team closed the group stage with 6 points after 2 wins, topped Group B and qualified for the semi-finals. The next opponent of coach Okiyama and his team will be Thailand U16 Women's - the second team with the best record.
