Before the training session, head coach Yutaka Ikeuchi shared about the team's situation as well as the goals of the gathering. The Japanese coach highly appreciated the fighting spirit, enthusiasm and desire to show off of the young Vietnamese players after more than a year of working, considering this an important foundation for development in a top football environment.
According to coach Yutaka Ikeuchi, the focus of this gathering is to review and expand the force. The coaching staff will create conditions to maximize the observation of potential players, especially new faces or those who have not had many opportunities to participate in previous gatherings. In parallel with that, the team also focuses on improving physical fitness and gradually building a playing style in a professional direction.

This gathering is not only meaningful for training but also a process of selecting and evaluating forces comprehensively," Mr. Ikeuchi emphasized.
Regarding personnel work, the coaching staff prioritizes players who were watched at the recent National U19 Championship, thereby having more basis for direct and objective evaluation.
According to the plan, the gathering of U19 Vietnam lasts about two weeks and is divided into two phases. In the first week, the coaching staff will evaluate and screen the force. In the following week, the team will add more personnel to increase competitiveness and complete the squad.

In the afternoon training session on March 17, the players maintained a serious training spirit, completing the set lesson plans. With a clear orientation and internal competition, U19 Vietnam is gradually preparing a foundation for goals in the coming time.
