Leverage reaches far
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has approved the Project for the development of Vietnamese football until 2030, with a vision to 2045. In particular, the general goal of the project includes: Developing a widespread football movement among subjects in society; focusing on training football talent, gradually approaching the goal of entering the top 10 countries with the most developed football in Asia, striving to complete the goal of qualifying for the World Cup finals; perfecting the market mechanism in the football field, making football a comprehensive service economic sector; innovating management mechanisms and methods, arousing potential, mobilizing and using effectively.
In the above target group, the Vietnam National Team's efforts to participate in the 2034 World Cup have received great attention from fans.
To realize this dream, the Vietnam Football Development Project also focuses on long-term core tasks, such as expanding the scope of selecting young talents, actively raising the level of school football or expanding the number of matches, changing the form of tournament organization for players from U17-U20.
The project also clearly states details about investment budget sources: It is a combination of using State resources and social mobilization sources in developing high-performance football. In particular, the State plays a leading role in building technical infrastructure, combined with expanding socialization methods, attracting investment and the participation of the whole society in developing football careers.
Joining hands to elevate Vietnamese football
According to Article VI on the Implementation Fund of the Vietnam Football Development Project to 2030, with a vision to 2045:
Firstly, the budget to implement the Project includes the State budget to spend on training and competition at home and abroad, hiring experts, bonuses for national football teams according to their duties and support resources from international football organizations, sponsorship from businesses and other legal sources according to the provisions of law.
Second, for State budget capital, it is implemented according to the current State budget decentralization. Ministries, branches and localities shall base on the goals and tasks stated in the Project to develop a budget estimate for implementation according to regulations.
Third, promote the mobilization of social resources to participate in the implementation of the Project according to the provisions of law; integrate the tasks assigned to ministries, branches and localities in other relevant programs, tasks, projects and projects.
Fourth, the Vietnam Football Federation effectively promotes support funding sources from international football organizations, sponsorship sources for national teams and other legal funding sources. Management, supervision and improvement of the effectiveness of the use of facilities for training and coaching national football teams and national youth football teams of the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.
In fact, in recent times, the story of finding a playing field for the Vietnam team in the Asian qualifiers or the World Cup qualifiers has always made experts and fans worried. My Dinh Stadium has not guaranteed playing conditions for nearly a year. This is also the reason why the national team had to choose Viet Tri and Binh Duong courts as competition locations. At a lower level, fans hope that financial resources will help national professional tournaments invest more heavily in facilities and technical infrastructure.
VAR will raise the level if the number of cameras present is greater and more diverse at stadiums. The financial problem for Vietnamese football is gradually being suggested through the Development Project to 2030, with a vision to 2045. The key issue is how the authorities will use investment resources and effectively mobilize the support of sponsors to bring the country's football to new heights.
