On the afternoon of December 13, Vu Thi Ngoc Ha brought home the bronze medal for Vietnam's athletics in the women's three-step dance event with a record of 16m68.
This is a remarkable result in the context of the female athlete getting injured during the competition. Accordingly, in the third dance, Ngoc Ha unfortunately suffered pain, directly affecting her ability to maintain her form in the following rounds.

Sharing after finishing the competition, Vu Thi Ngoc Ha said she accepted the results achieved, because she competed with the highest effort possible.
"In competition, there are always many unexpected factors. After the third jump, I was injured, but in the previous dances I tried my best so there is nothing to regret, Ngoc Ha said.
In fact, the initial goal of the coaching staff and Vietnamese athletes was to compete for gold medals, because the training achievements before the tournament showed that this was completely feasible.
However, injuries prevented Ngoc Ha from carrying out the plan. However, the female athlete born in 1996 believes that the bronze medal is a worthy reward for her efforts throughout the preparation process. Each medal reflects effort and cannot be measured simply by color.

Ngoc Ha also shared: "At the 33rd SEA Games, I set a goal of winning a gold medal for my son, because I have focused on training and have not been able to see my child for more than a month. The thoughtful care of my children by my grandparents also helps me feel secure in my professional training.
Looking back on the past, Ngoc Ha said that she has matured after many years of being involved in top-level sports as well as the ups and downs in the past.
Finally, Ngoc Ha sent a message to her small family: "Although I only won a bronze medal, it is the result of my best efforts in the conditions allowed. I hope the family will be happy with this achievement, because everyone's support and support is always the biggest motivation for me to continue competing".
