The 2026 National Volleyball League A will hold the group stage at the Dien Bien Provincial Sports Center from May 16 to May 30. After that, the final round of the tournament will take place at the Thai Nguyen Provincial Sports Center from December 17 to December 27.
This year, the Video Challenge Eyes system will continue to operate at the tournament.
Last year, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation first implemented the Video Challenge Eyes (magic eyes) system at the final round of the 2025 National Volleyball Tournament held in Ha Tinh.
Bringing this system into the tournament to support referees in officiating matches, avoiding controversy. Because, the results of matches in the final round will determine the promotion slot of each team.
This year, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation continues to put Video Challenge Eyes into use in the final round of the tournament.
According to the Regulations of the 2026 National Volleyball League A, the men's and women's champions will be awarded promotion to participate in the 2027 National Championship.
The group stage of this year's tournament has 24 registered teams participating (13 men's teams, 11 women's teams).
At the tournaments just held recently, including Hoa Lu Cup 2026, Round 1 of the 2026 National Club Championship and Hung Vuong Cup 2026, the Video Challenge Eyes system was used to support the officiating referee and there was no unfortunate controversy about the score results.
