The 2025 Asian Rowing Championship will take place from October 11 to 19 at the competition area at the Hai Phong Rowing Training Center.

The tournament is an important opportunity for the Vietnam Rowing Team to review the force towards the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand at the end of this year and the 20th ASIAD in Japan in 2026.
This is the first time Vietnam has organized the Asian Rowing Championship. The organizing committee will compete in 20 men's events and 20 women's events across distances.
It is expected that the teams sending athletes to Vietnam to compete are India, Hong Kong (China), Taiwan (China), Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, the DPRK, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore. host Vietnam attended all events and all the players were training to compete.
Last year, the Vietnamese rowing team won 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals at the 2024 Asian tournament. Gold medal achievements in the women's doubles and women's 8-a-side boats.
The athlete who participated in the 2024 Olympics, Pham Thi Hue, will compete in the 2025 Asian Championship in Hai Phong. In addition, many players with good expertise such as Pham Thi Thao, Ho Thi Ly, Luong Thi Thao, Dinh Thi Hao, Pham Thi Ngoc Anh, Le Thi Hien, Ha Thi Vui, Du Thi Bong... were registered in advance.
