The competition program of the SEA V.League 2026 volleyball tournament has been specifically decided by the Southeast Asian Volleyball Federation at a working session on March 6 recently.
According to the decision, Vietnam will be the host of the first leg of the women's division of the SEA V.League 2026 from July 31st to August 2nd. The second leg of the tournament is held in Thailand from August 7th to September 9th. 8. Four teams will participate in the women's division of the SEA V.League 2026: Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia.
In 2025, the Thai team won the first leg of the tournament, and the second leg witnessed the Vietnamese team win at the Ninh Binh provincial gymnasium.
Regarding the men's content, the SEA V.League 2026 tournament will hold the first leg from July 15 to July 19 in the Philippines. The second leg will be played from July 22 to July 26 in Indonesia. This year, the men's content has 6 teams registered to participate including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia and Myanmar.
The competition format of the SEA V.League for men's and women's content remains the same: round-robin 1 round, selecting the team with the highest result to award the championship cup.
The most recent international tournament of Southeast Asian volleyball was SEA Games 33 held in December last year in Thailand. At this Games, Thai men's and women's teams won the championship.
This year, many Southeast Asian teams will prepare to participate in ASIAD 20, so the SEA V.League 2026 is a valuable level test.
