Final rankings of the 2025 U21 Women's Volleyball World Cup

The 2025 U21 Women's Volleyball World Cup has ended. The U21 Italy team won the championship while the U21 Vietnam team ranked 19th.

On the evening of August 17, the final match of the 2025 U21 Women's Youth Volleyball World Cup took place in Indonesia with a 3-2 victory of the U21 Italy team over the U21 Japan team.

In the end of this year's tournament, the champion was the U21 Italy team, the runner-up was the U21 Japan team and the third place belonged to U21 Brazil.

Southeast Asia has three participating teams. The Thai U21 team ranked 12th, the host team U21 Indonesia ranked 16th while we ranked 19th.

At the tournament, the Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team will compete in the group stage with the teams U21 Indonesia, U21 Serbia, U21 Canada, U21 Argentina, U21 Puerto Rico.

After the group stage, with the decision of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), the Vietnam U21 Volleyball Team continues to participate in the group for the rankings from 17 to 24.

In the matches of the upper-level tournament, the Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team won against the Egypt U21 team, lost to the Chile U21 team and won against the Dominican Republic U21 team, so they were ranked 19th overall.

This is the first time that Vietnam's youth women's volleyball team has competed at a world-level tournament and has shown good form. According to the schedule on the afternoon of August 18, coach Nguyen Trong Linh and his team will return to Vietnam

In terms of individual results, player Adigwe (Italy) was the player with the most points in the tournament with 166 points. Player Pham Quynh Huong is the most effective scorer for the Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team with 62 points.
