According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: the US and Iran continue military attacks against each other; the US Federal Reserve is likely to raise interest rates by the end of this year to curb inflation; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, continuing to focus heavily on energy facilities, oil refineries... The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to fluctuate upwards and downwards depending on the item.
The average world finished gasoline and oil prices between the price adjustment period on August 27, 2026 and the operating period on September 3, 2026 are: 117.026 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (up 4.628 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 4.12%); 121.018 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline used to blend E10 RON95-III gasoline (up 4.700 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 4.04%); 154.700 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 1.788 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.14%); 586.062 USD/ton of mazut oil 180CST 3.5S (down 25.446 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 4.16%).
The selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items in the domestic market in the operating period on September 3rd are as follows:
- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 22,486 VND/liter (an increase of 723 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price), lower than E10 RON95-III gasoline by 788 VND/liter;
- E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 23,274 VND/liter (an increase of 672 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 27,743 VND/liter (down 341 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);
- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than 17,641 VND/kg (down 499 VND/kg compared to the current maximum selling price).
