Information from the Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT) said that Market Management Team No. 4 under the Hanoi Market Management Department has transferred all records and exhibits of the discovery of 5,779 counterfeit shoe products of Hermes, Dior, Adidas, Zara, Louis Vuitton... brands to Kim Lien Ward Police (Hanoi) for handling according to its authority.
Previously, on September 25, Market Management Team No. 4 coordinated with Kim Lien Ward Police to conduct an inspection of 2 business establishments owned by Ms. V.T.K.C, at addresses No. 16 and No. 69, Lane 12, Boc Pagoda Street, Kim Lien Ward, Hanoi City.



The inspection results discovered 5,779 shoe products of all kinds with the brands Hermes, Dior, Adidas, Zara, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent (YSL), Chanel, Prada, Gucci, MLB, Valentino, showing signs of counterfeiting trademarks that are protected in Vietnam.
Market Management Team No. 4 has contacted the legal representatives of the above brands to coordinate in determining the violation.
The verification results showed that among the temporarily detained goods of Ms. V.T.K.C, there were 3,478 pairs of sandals counterfeiting the Hermes brand; 620 units of shoes and sandals counterfeiting the Dior brand; 310 pairs of sandals counterfeiting the Zara brand; 30,4 pairs of sandals counterfeiting the Saint Laurent brand (YSL); 49 pairs of sandals counterfeiting the Gucci brand; 36 pairs of shoes counterfeiting the MLB brand;
347 pairs of shoes counterfeiting the Louis Vuitton brand; 393 pairs of shoes and shoes counterfeiting the Chanel brand; 30 pairs of shoes counterfeiting the Valentino brand; 97 pairs of shoes counterfeiting the Adidas brand.

On October 2, after the results of identifying counterfeit goods, Kim Lien Ward Police issued document No. 1411/CV-CAPKL requesting to transfer the case file with signs of crime.
On October 3, Market Management Team No. 4 officially handed over all documents and exhibits to Kim Lien Ward Police for handling according to the provisions of law.
The case once again shows the determination of the Market Management and Local Police in fighting and preventing the production and trading of counterfeit goods, protecting consumer rights and the reputation of legitimate brands.
