WTI oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 62.84 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at a price of 62.96 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 67.75 USD/barrel, up 0.23 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.34%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 67.52 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at 67.58 USD/barrel.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the world gasoline and oil market in the operating period last week (from February 5, 2026 - February 11, 2026) was affected by key factors such as: the tense situation between the United States and Iran; increased US crude oil inventories; ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine... The above factors caused world gasoline and oil prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on each item, but the upward trend was main.
A representative of a gasoline and oil business said that domestic prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may increase slightly.
In the adjustment session last week on February 12, 2026, gasoline prices simultaneously increased. In which, E5 RON 92 gasoline priced at 18,834 VND/liter (up 395 VND/liter). RON 95-III gasoline priced at 19,298 VND/liter (up 418 VND/liter).
Prices of oil items simultaneously increased. Diesel oil 0.05S is priced at 18,463 VND/liter (up 10 VND/liter); kerosene has a new price of 18, 512 VND/liter (up 122 VND/liter); mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is priced at 15,569 VND/kg (up 419 VND/kg).
