World gasoline and oil prices today simultaneously increased. At the end of the weekend trading session, WTI crude oil price was at 63.55 USD/barrel, up 0.26 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.41%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 63.29 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at a price of 63.11 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 68.05 USD/barrel, up 0.50 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.74%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 67.55 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at 67.20 USD/barrel.
In the price adjustment period last week, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the world gasoline and oil market in the operating period (from January 29, 2026 - January 4, 2026) was affected by key factors such as: OPEC+ maintaining oil production in March; USD appreciation, tensions between the United States and Iran, US oil inventories falling more sharply than forecast; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine still continuing... The above factors caused world gasoline and oil prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on each item.
A representative of a gasoline and oil business said that it will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may increase.
In the adjustment session last week on February 5, 2026, gasoline prices simultaneously increased. In which, E5 RON 92 gasoline is priced at 18,439 VND/liter (up 100 VND/liter). RON 95-III gasoline is priced at 18,880 VND/liter (up 35 VND/liter).
Prices of oil items simultaneously increased. Diesel oil 0.05S is priced at 18,453 VND/liter (up 280 VND/liter); kerosene has a new price of 18,390 VND/liter (up 214 VND/liter); mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is priced at 15,150 VND/kg (up 517 VND/kg).
